Magnesium-Alloy Casing
The magnesium-alloy material allows the Gateway® Office Series casing to be 20 times stronger and much lighter than traditional plastic notebook casing. A firm grip has also been added to provide a secure way to hold the notebook in one hand and prevent a fall.

LED Backlight Technology
The first benefit using LED backlight technology might be its mercury-free composition and a longer life than current CCFL panels, which make it much more environmental friendly. Moreover, it offers a better colour saturation and a more vivid illumination, a wider utilization of the Adobe® RGB colour space, and better colour management capability.

Hardware and Software Security
The office notebook series are equipped with Trusted Platform Management (TPM) security compliant with TCG 1.2 standard and with fingerprint reader, which store your passwords and bio-metric information in a separate chip on the motherboard, thus ensuring your information is separate and safe from Trojans and other spyware that can roam through a busy hard-drive. Intel® Wireless WiFi Link technology supports WPA2 advanced encryption, in order to secure your connection to any 802.11 network. Gateway® recovery management, Norton Internet Security™ 2009 (60-day trial), and a Kensington lock reinforce the existing hardware security.

High Performance
The Gateway® office notebook line brings the latest Intel® Centrino® 2 processor technology, with Intel® Core™2 Duo processors, Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset, Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 5100/5300. The NO50 Series features even more, the vPro™ technology for hardware-assisted security features, remote management and improvements in hardware and software inventory time and power management.

NO20 and NO50 series possess the latest Intel® Wireless Wi-Fi Link technology, supporting dual-band quad-mode 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N Wi-Fi CERTIFIED® network connection, and Cisco® Compatible Extensions (CCX-V4), Bluetooth® 2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) and Gigabit Ethernet to provide the widest range of ways to stay connected to networks and peripherals.
